He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Vikings. He will be remembered as one who loved to spend time with his grandchildren and doing puzzles. He was previously a member of the Ashville Fire Department. Rick was a life member of the Celoron Fire Department, serving for 31 years and was also a past president of the department. In earlier years he was employed as a machine operator for the Matco Tool Company in Lakewood, NY and most recently had worked with the residents of Aspire of Western New York.
